Naomi Watts

Watts (born 28 September 1968) is a British actress from the UK. Following the
move of her family to Australia and Watts made her debut there in For Love
Alone (1986). Then she appeared in three TV series: Hey Dad.. (1990), Brides of
Christ(91), and Home and Away (91) as well as Flirting (1991). Watts was an
unpromising actor when she first arrived in the United States. She acted in
films of a smaller scale and later became an actress. Watts became famous
internationally with this role. Watts was the journalist who is depressed in
The Ring, a horror film that was remade. She was nominated for an Academy Award
for Best Actress for her portrayal of a grieving mother in the Alejandro film
21 Grams (2003). She continued to rise to fame with her parts in I Heart
Huckabees (2004) and King Kong (2005) as along with Eastern Promises (2007) and
The International (2009). In her role as Maria Bennett in the disaster film The
Impossible (2012), Watts received another Academy Award nomination for Best
Actress. In the 2010s, Watts appeared in films such as Birdman (2014) St.
Vincent (2014) St. Vincent (2015), While We're Young (2016), The Glass Castle
(2017) and Luce (2018). Watts kept her acting career going with major roles in
blockbusters, including Divergent (2015-2016).
